What:
A guided tour and introduction to Goldstone Rum, with founders John and Georgina Bowell, followed by drinks and nibbles.
On a walking tour of our distillery, learn how we take the raw ingredients through fermentation, distillation in our impressive 500 litre still NelMar and bottling ready for tasting. Our team will give you the story behind Goldstone Rum® and a better understanding of the history of rum and how it varies around the world.
Finally, you’ll be led through a tasting where you’ll learn the flavour profile and characteristics, and which rum works best in which cocktail.
About Goldstone Rum:
In the darkest depths of lockdown, John and Georgina had an ambition. They were hatching plans to be more creative, to take them away from their corporate worlds and immerse themselves in something new. The prospect sounded daunting and exciting; a midlife flip to create a world where they were their own bosses and they had more time to spend with their young family. With many ideas bubbling around in their heads and late night discussions aplenty, their ideas were whittled down and Goldstone Rum ® was born.

Cash in your wallet! Bottles of Goldstone Rum will be available to purchase on site. Please note this is also a "bring a guest" event, so you are free to book two tickets and bring a husband, wife, twice removed second cousin or friend!
