Our guest speakers this month will be Lucy Rowett-Schnabel, Sex and Intimacy and Claudine Nightingill-Rane, body acceptance coach.
Lucy Rowett-Schnabel: From Purity Culture, to Woo, to Sexologist: Lessons on Shame, Embodiment and Pleasure.
How can we embrace our bodies as infinitely wise? How can we discern what is dogma? What if pleasure was a form of medicine?
Lucy shares some of the biggest lessons she learned after healing from purity culture and religious sexual shame, to then ricocheting to the other side ino the world of spirituality and woo, to now with feet firmly planted in the middle.
Claudine Nightingill-Rane: My wild ride to radical self acceptance.
“As a kid, I went from looking like a boy, to looking like a woman, I missed out on looking like a girl. This sparked a whole raft of insecurities which led to decades of bullying, self hate and destruction. When I finally realised I am good enough as me, I found myself, found confidence and radical self acceptance.”
Claudine now takes everything she has learned in her personal journey to help women and girls find acceptance in themselves and their bodies, exactly as they are, with group and one to one coaching. She also advocates cold water swimming for mental health and regular coaches her clients in the sea!
