Book now for 2023 Co-Women events!

We know that you’re currently waist-deep in mince pie cases and party outfit choices for December, but if you’re looking to get ahead with booking in networking opportunities for 2023, we’ve got a whole series of events ready to sign up for. New year, new Co-Women? We hope so! Read on to find out more…

The return of 5 Rs We’re really excited to welcome back our popular wellbeing circle event, incorporating the elements of Release, Revive, Refuel, Request, Restore. A great way to spend a Sunday morning, in a safe circle among other women who are ready to shake off 2022 and embrace 2023. This event is exclusive to Co-Women members, but the good news is that our doors are currently open…

Evening walks Another event allowing you the opportunity to refresh yourself in a different way is our Full Moon Walks, starting in January, with February’s also available to book. We’re privileged to be able to access a rural location which offers a fabulous view following a hill climb, where we can appreciate the sights and sounds of nature, let off some steam, and share in a fresh experience.

I may be a little biased as a personal trainer, but the chance to get outdoors, have some fresh air, take some exercise and let it all go is something I’ll always advocate for. To make friends along the way? Even better.

There’s no fee involved in these events either, which is another bonus when many of us feel the pinch at the start of the year.

Dominatrix skills, Drag karaoke, or both? Co-Women is known for prioritising joy… and embracing all aspects of what it means to exist in this world, including our sexuality and more. The Dominatrix Workshop is a unique offering among networking groups. Taking place in Brighton Dungeon, there are some crucial details to inform yourself of via the event listing. You may just surprise yourself if you’re bold enough to attend!

And in February, we wanted to give a nod to Valentine’s Day, as we did with our night out this year. For 2023, there’s a new theme: karaoke hosted by resident drag queens! With food included in your ticket price, there’s little left to worry about other than which songs you’re going to choose to belt out, whilst your fellow Co-Women cheer you on. I Will Survive? Maybe. Independent Women? Always.

Before the end of February, we’ll also be making a trip to The Dripping Pan in Lewes to watch the infamous Lewes FC women’s team at the home of Equality FC, and we’ll be sampling the delights of Brighton’s Shelter Hall. But it doesn’t stop there…

Brighton… and beyond Our dream of a Co-Women holiday is coming true in March! We’re jetting off for three nights in Marrakech, where we’ve got a private riad booked to host us. There are still spaces available to join us and, if you’re double quick, you’ll also be able to be with us in January when we have a get together exclusively for the intrepid travellers to meet and get fully excited. Fancy some fun in the sun during early 2023? Now is your chance.

We’ll be back… After this week, the blog is taking a break until the New Year – let’s be honest, few of us are giving the internet much attention, favouring families and friends, or the TV and a duvet hide during the coming weeks. Tonight, I’m excited to catch up with my friends and other Co-Women at The Grand in Brighton for our annual Christmas party. And after that, I’ll need some serious recovery time!

Our advice? Rest up, enjoy yourself, and get ready for your best year yet. We hope that you’ll join us for the next series of adventures, and look forward to welcoming you into our group.
