Career and Strengths Coach
Forwards Flow Coaching
Who I am I am a coach who helps people discover their strengths and values to live purposeful, happy and successful lives. I am experienced at coaching teams, groups and individuals. My clients range from those starting out in their first jobs to returners to work, people climbing the career ladder or transitioning into new careers. My approach My positivity makes it easy for me to believe in the true potential of my clients and I love helping people to be their best selves. I am valued for my intuitive questioning style and the supportive challenge I bring to my sessions. My clients talk about my ability to build deep connections with them and the nurturing, safe space I create whether coaching virtually or in person. I am an embodied coach and use my body awareness to get under the surface with clients. I work with clients in the outdoors where possible as I believe being outside helps people to open up their thinking and re-connect with their bodies. Qualifications and accreditation I have a passion for education and bring 20 years’ experience of working in and with skills organisations to help promote the value of lifelong learning. I have built up strong leadership experience through leading teams for several global organisations. I am an EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) affiliate member and will convert to an accredited member at Practitioner level in April 2023. I am a Clifton-strengths certified coach and a trained peer coach and 121 coach. My career journey After starting out in arts administration I moved into public relations and had loads of fun in London agencies throughout my twenties and early thirties. I learnt a lot along the way about great customer service, presentation, teamwork and creativity. I moved in-house in my late thirties, following my interest in education and skills and have created a vibrant in-house communications and brand team at leading skills organisation City & Guilds. I first discovered coaching in 2017 and since then have been building up my skills and experience as a coach ready to embark on the next chapter in my life. What I love I am passionate about getting outside and love running, swimming in the sea and long walks with my family and dog. I am a fun-lover and am never happier than when dancing at a sunny festival with my friends. I love the arts in all its forms, particularly dance (which I studied at uni) and theatre and I try to go as often as I can, it feeds my soul.
