Love is once again in the air, and 2024 is seeing Sussex’s joyful women-only networking group, Co-Women spread even further. Read on to find out more about why now is the ideal time to join us courtesy of Co-founder and specialist personal trainer, Becky Hughes…
With January slipping further behind us (yay!), the year is really amping up, and thanks to all of the hearts and flowers in every shop and email inbox going, you might be feeling drawn to show yourself and your business some love. As usual, at Co-Women we’ve got a few ideas and tricks up our sleeve.
Let’s start with our popular Chai & Chatter events, which we’ve recently grown! Now held in six (count them!) locations across the county, we’re bringing more fabulous women in business together than ever before – just call us Cupid. These events are free for members to attend, and non-members are charged a small fee. It’s your chance to meet a variety of women, without the requirement to formally pitch. Instead, grab a coffee and settle down for a casual chat about anything you like.
Tell us what’s on your mind, what your current issues are, and we’ll do our best to actively help or point you in the right direction. We love hearing about what other people do, plus having the chance to bring you into our group.
These events are currently held monthly in Brighton, Hove, Horsham, Haywards Heath, Kemptown and Hurstpierpoint. You can sign up via our events page.
Later in February, there’s the next in our Talks at Dinner series, this time themed around Turning Points. We’ll have three fantastic speakers, a wonderful buffet provided by our venue, Team Domenica, and the chance to network freely as well. The January edition was packed, and some brilliant connections were made – don’t miss this chance!
Finally, the Leap Day joy you didn’t know you needed is being provided by us and a trip to Brighton’s Pinot & Picasso. Come with us to this fun paint and sip studio – non-alcoholic drinks available, and the chance to bring your own snacks too. You’ll come away with your very own canvas, having had a laugh and a dance whilst we wait for the paint to dry – because it’s too boring to sit and watch it. Watch out, because there may even be a glow in the dark element…
