As 2024 really kicks into gear, it’s time to up your networking game! Co-Women is the Sussex networking group for women which prioritises joy alongside high-quality events. We’ve already started our year strong with an online members’ briefing, our popular Chai and Chatter meets, and the first in this year’s Talks at Dinner series. Here’s what you can join us for during February and March 2024…
Chai & Chatter – now at more venues!
Chai & Chatter is one of our flagship events. Informal and relaxed, this is a chance to meet our members, find out more about us, and for us to find out more about you! Come and share what it is that you do, and learn about what other Co-Women are up to. If you’re feeling bold, ask for advice about an issue you’re currently trying to resolve, or just listen and learn. These happen monthly in Horsham, Hove, Brighton, Haywards Heath and is soon to be launching somewhere new! All are available to book via our events page
Talks at Dinner
If you missed our fabulous session in January, there are other chances to come and share food and knowledge with us. Hosted at the brilliant Team Domenica café in Brighton, these events offer the chance to learn about something serious in a fun way. Our January topic was “fresh starts” and in February, we’ll be taking a deep dive into “turning points”. Come and join the fun!
Pinot & Picasso – on Leap Day!
We don’t know about you, but we think that Leap Day is a chance to have even more joy in our lives. No, we won’t spend it “being productive” or “making plans”, we’re going to go and do the fucking thing. And the thing we’ve picked is painting, drinking, eating, and laughing. Pinot & Picasso is a paint and sip studio which arrived in Brighton in 2023 and very much shares our ethos – they say that they are about the art of fun, and we couldn’t agree more. Join us to paint (and dance, because there is music too!) and you’ll go away with a canvas as a souvenir or your unique experience
5Rs – International Women’s Day reset time
Whilst the original philosophy of IWD was great, it does seem to have been swallowed by the corporate bullshit monster somewhat. So we’re hijacking it like only we can, and are fully reclaiming it for ourselves.
We last hosted our 5Rs event last summer, and a cohort of women maximised the opportunity for a physical and emotional reset thanks to a variety of activities including literally shaking our emotions out of our system, and much more besides – we won’t spoil the surprise for you. It’s time to take a bold step for yourself, book your place, and commit to giving yourself the space that you well and truly deserve
